The beach scene keeps calling me back to it–really lovely. Delighted to have you participating in the new/old challenge. Happy Photo Challenge.
Thanks Sally. This is on the west coast of the island, where the Atlantic winds create some amazing surf!

Beautiful photos, In that first one I can almost feel that I could step onto the sand and into the water.
Thanks, Angeline. The black volcanic sand looks pretty cool. The other side of the island has sand dunes created by sand blown over from the Sahara!
Steve, I like the beach, but there’s something about the funky cactus that gets my attention. Good choices.

Thanks. The cacti were at the island Zoo. It looked so artistic, I had to take a photo!
I remember it well! 😀 xxx
Some good memories! xx
You’ve captured that surf so well! It’s just beautiful. I can smell the sea air…
Thanks. The barren landscape makes the coast look even more dramatic!
These photos are really interesting – I love the cactus and the vibrant Spanish colours.
Thanks. It was the mixture of exotic colours and shapes that attracted me.

Wonderful photos 🙂
Thank you! 🙂
I usually dislike phone photos because of the quality, but the results on that beach shot is actually decent.
Despite some obvious limitations, the quality of photos from phone cameras can be really impressive.
